Biografía

It all started when four friends got together and formed a band to escape the boring stereotypes of the local music scene. The clear, sunny Californian seacoast 60’s garage rock influence, mixed up with a fresh English pop flavour makes Soundays a music revelation – and one of the most exciting new bands in Latin America.

In 2008 Soundays entered the studio to record the songs for their first demo “Riot”, produced by Emilio Acosta. In April that year, the first single “Gipsy Love” came out and later that October, the band released the full 5-song demo.

The band has played at numerous nightclubs in and around the national and international circuit and upon their return from touring Uruguay and Argentina, the band showed an increased hunger to satisfy and swell their audience: They were inspired to write more catchy tunes and give greater live performances.

During 2009 the band and their producer Gaston Solari (ex Desus4) started to work on the new EP “OLHA” based on real life and the member’s own carnal lifestyle.

Weeks later, the band was invited back to play in Buenos Aires, due to the high demand of local fans.

2010 has been a step up to the independent creative success of Soundays with a new set of songs, new management from Alvaro Caceres and executive producer Charlie Da Silva. A European tour is at the planning stage and will be announced soon.
